Contributor License Agreement
1. Introduction
Thank you for your interest in contributing to OpenEduCat. This Contributor License Agreement (CLA) defines the terms under which contributions are made to our open-source project. By submitting a contribution, you agree to these terms.
2. Definitions
"Contribution" means any original work of authorship, including any modifications or additions to existing work, that you submit to OpenEduCat. "Submit" means any form of communication sent to OpenEduCat including pull requests, patches, code, documentation, or other materials.
3. Copyright License
You grant OpenEduCat and recipients of software distributed by OpenEduCat a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable copyright license to reproduce, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute your Contributions.
4. Patent License
You grant OpenEduCat and recipients a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable patent license to make, have made, use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer your Contributions, where such license applies only to patent claims licensable by you that are necessarily infringed by your Contribution.
5. Representations
You represent that: you are legally entitled to grant the above licenses; if your employer has rights to your work, you have received permission to make Contributions; your Contribution is your original creation; and your Contribution does not violate any third-party rights.
6. No Support Obligation
You are not expected to provide support for your Contributions unless you choose to do so. Any support provided is at your discretion and may be free or paid as you determine.
7. Agreement
By submitting a Contribution, you agree to the terms of this CLA. You may sign this agreement electronically or by including the text "I agree to the CLA" in your pull request. For corporate contributions, an authorized representative must sign.
